“I don’t know. You tell me,” she answered.
They can never be boyfriend-girlfriend. He told her that. It hurt her a lot but she accepted it. She taught herself to get over that. It used to pain her every time he said Dnt msg or Wid frnds. It means that she shouldn’t message him. She knows they don’t have a future, that all they have is right now. She no longer cries whenever she feel unwanted.
Its love, blind trust, and act of faith that made her meet him. She went there knowing that he will not be a boyfriend to her. That she is only a close friend, with benefits.
Then he said she’s his girlfriend. Her heart swelled.
Me?! His girlfriend?!
She felt she won the lottery.
Really?! I’m his girlfriend?! Wow… Fuck!
They did what normal couples do. Date. A walk in the street, holding hands. Shopping. Dinner. Movies. Kissing. Fights. Making out. Time spent together broke down her walls. She’s so vulnerable as if her heart is out in the open. She loves it. She’s feeling human again.
Time’s up. Its over. She’s back in reality. Back in checking messages every 3 minutes and asking herself why she don’t have a message. She started wondering if he is sleeping or if he is working. She’s back in waiting for spare time. She’s back to zero.
