We hit the Laguna Loop weeks ago. Here are the photos that I have taken on our trip. First stop is the Morong church in Rizal. I actually do not know the exact name of the church. It has gothic (?) design and I was amazed when I first seen the church.

Morong Church

The church was closed when we got there but we are able to go inside since the people maintaining the church was very accommodating. The glass windows are breath taking. I have only taken one picture since I could not decide which window to choose.

Outside the church, this scene is my favorite. This is located at the back of the church. This photo makes me realize that I love taking photos of doors. I just don’t know what it signifies.

In front of the church, you could see the Dambana ng Kagalakan.

I am really pissed. Just went to the HR to follow up my salary adjustment. Actually, I e-mailed them twice asking when my adjustment would be credited since I signed a document stating that my salary increase would be credited the “next payroll”. That was May 2, 2007 and I assumed that the “next payroll” is May 15, 2007. Well, I guess not! The adjustment had taken effect February 27 but I’m still not feelin’ it. And you know why? The HR still hasn’t received their copy of the document. What the?!

I am so mad that I want to cry. The management is really doing well on setting high metrics and they make sure that we reach them but they are not doing their job in taking care of the employees. Darn it! They all suck.

The HR personnel ask me to provide them my copy so that the adjustment would be retro on June 15 but when I gave my copy, the HR personnel notice that our account manager have not signed yet. Went to the manager’s cubicle and the manager already went home. So, I guess I have to wait until Thursday ranted that we have the same shift or something. Man, all they have to do is sign the damned paper and had it to the HR office, which is only a floor below us. I am so angry right now that I can’t think of anything else except that I deserve that increase!

Still On Photo Shoot May 29, 2007

I was pretty damned please with the results of the photo shoot the other day although I have only seen the first batch of the pictures. But Glenn was kinda pessimistic about the shots and when I look again at the pictures last night at home, I suddenly feel that as if I didn’t do what I should. The make up looks smudged and appalling at the second batch of the pictures. Makes me feel sad though, as if I didn’t do well at my work.

Models are tired and I didn’t retouch the make-up cause we are all sore tired. The photographer said that we still have chance even though the OSMA site has a great photographer, beautiful models, and outstanding crew. He said that the pictures we saw are just the raw material. There’s still a chance since he could edit the photos (background only). Actually, I do not care about winning, I just want to see that the outcome of the shoot is good and having a better finish product is more than winning. Man, this is my first gig that my effort will be judged and documented. That’s why I am really conscious about it. Well, I guess there will be ore pressure to come because all the models will hit the stage next month at Subic.

I still could not post the pictures. I’ll try to ask the photographer after the judging, maybe I could then.

We had our photo shoot yesterday for our account’s (?) entry for a company photo competition. It was really tiring but at least the sun was not scorching hot. The photo entourage must be employee of the company and within our account, from the photographer, models, and to the designer. I was asked to do the hair and make up. At first, I was really hesitant. I am not professionally good but I guess what I did yesterday was pretty decent. Well, I can say that I didn’t make the models look cheap.

Anyways, what really scare me yesterday were the Taguig policemen. While we’re shooting, a police car pulled over and run towards our car. We were inside the abandoned building and I saw the cops run as if they were in an entrapment operation. I was so scared that they would fire at our cars, I shouted at them saying where we at. I think they said that what we are doing is illegal. The the Fort officials know that we are shooting that day and we have our permit at their office. Guards rounding within the Fort leave us alone as soon as we said that we had permits but the policemen did not. Glenn, the photographer, said that the police might thing that there are people having sex at the car and that’s why they acted as if they were about to arrest someone.

Bottom line, the police extracted money from us. They said that their patrol car is about to be gas empty. Hello?! What if we are dense and told them so what? Glenn asked two hundred buck from our coordinator. How she can reimburse the two-hunderd pesos? Maybe we should ask for a receipt at the police. Hahaha!

Nwei, I had fun yesterday. Again. I like this type of unwinding..
